It all started when Anita, at the age of 12, found the love for writing. She initiated inking her thoughts on paper and soon these thoughts took a form of poetry. Feeling left out from her lil world, poetry was her escape to happiness and booster to her imaginations. This small town girl knew nothing about the tough world she was about to enter in the coming years. All she followed was her desires and things to do she finds fun in and She desired to learn new things and gain new skills.

But just when Anita knew she had found her calling, it was time to choose something concrete for a career and she went ahead with taking Science stream in 11th standard. She had no idea how far she’ll be gone from her happiness by making that decision until she found life to be empty. The situation of studying in a small school with narrow-minded people around took away a part of her.

Hailing from the background of Science, she continued to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science degree – Mathematics Major. But studies never did justice to her being and despite the hardships, she stood strong. “Things are always in your hands, you just need that perspective” she firmly believes and that’s what will change her life from miserable to coming back to creativity. Anita tried her hand at being a voice and she took up being a Radio Jockey at All India Radio and doing weekly shows there. “This version of Anita of 18 years, sitting in front of the mike with headphones on, wasn’t afraid of anything, she was on an adventure and she was enjoying it,” she laughs.

This achievement got her the National Record for India’s Youngest Journalist.

In 2015, Anita decided to not appear for placement jobs as she was promised to get a job in this online magazine, but was scammed and ended up with no job even after working whole year with no pay. Now that her dreams came down crashing in front of her eyes, she desperately wanted to move to a bigger city to fulfill them. With many failed attempts of convincing her parents, she finally succeeded and moved to Bangalore with a job offer from Mukunda Foods Pvt Ltd for the position of Business & Brand Development Officer. “This part of the journey, where I got to work closely with the founders and the team, molded me towards being an entrepreneur,” she says.
